Im definitely not an award show hound. I just don’t GET IT honestly….I think now a days our society is way too obsessed with celebrities…and its kinda getting outta hand. I understand getting excited about their performances in films, tv, or their albums but red carpets have literally nothing to do with that so..yeah I just don’t care. Not super interested in hearing what Lays chips Jennifer Lawrence ate in the limo on the way there or what underwear Johnny Depp is wearing under his tux (ok…thats a TOTAL lie).
BUT I always scour the internets the day after an awards show to get inspiration for looks make up wise. I feel like the “trend” for red carpet season nine times out of ten is the old “no makeup makeup ” stand by. Not that I don’t love that look or think it has its merits under all those lights and hundred of photog cameras flashing BUT it can get repetitive and boring to me after a while. NO HATE. My hat goes off to the amazing artists who perfected and finessed that timeless and beautiful no fuss no muss glow..but I like the drama in my makeup. Shocker right?
